
Kellogg's® All-Bran® Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
2 ½ cups (625 ml) sifted flour
1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
¼ teaspoon (1 ml) salt
¾ cup (175 ml) butter or margarine (soft tub), softened
¾ cup (175 ml) white sugar
¾ cup (175 ml) packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
¼ cup (60 ml) hot water
½ cup (125 ml) Kellogg's
® All-Bran Flakes
®
½ cup (125 ml) chopped walnuts
1 cup (160 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method
- Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter/margarine and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Mix in hot water. Add Kellogg's® All-Bran Flakes® cereal, flour mixture, walnuts and chocolate chips, mixing until combined.
- Drop by teaspoon onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
- Bake at 190ºC for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheets and cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
