Kellogg's® All-Bran Hi-Fibre®
Apricot Slices

Ingredients

125 g butter
150 ml brown sugar
½ cup (125 ml) honey
200 g Kellogg's® All-Bran Hi-Fibre®, lightly crushed
3 tablespoons (45 ml) dessicated coconut
2 ml ground cinnamon
80 g dried apricots, finely chopped
2 tablespoons (30 ml) dark chocolate, grate

Method

  1. Line a 20 cm lamington tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix the butter, sugar and honey in a medium saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar has melted.
  3. Pour the honey mixture into a mixing bowl and add the bran, coconut, cinnamon and apricots. Press the mixture into the tray and sprinkle with chocolate.
  4. Cut into slices while still warm and crumbly and refrigerate until firm.
